Conceptual Space / Built Reality
The Foundation : Form, Systems, Design, Communication
My background in architecture shaped the way I work as a product designer today. Across academic and professional work in Italy, Brazil, and Los Angeles, I built a multidisciplinary design experience grounded in form, systems, spatial reasoning, visual communication, and execution. My portfolio spans speculative design, research, and professional work on architectural and urban-scale projects.

Challenge
Architectural projects require designers to work across concept, technical development, stakeholder alignment, spatial experience, visual storytelling, and execution. The problem is never only formal. It is systemic.
Background
My training began in Italy in architecture and urbanism, then expanded through multidisciplinary design experience (ASP Double Master’s Degree), international academic experiences in Brazil (PoliTO/UnB Double MArch), advanced architectural technologies education in Los Angeles (SCI-Arc Edge Master of Science), and professional work in the US across different scales and building types.
What I Did
- Built projects across speculative design, healthcare, hospitality, office, and planning.
- Produced drawings, renderings, diagrams, finish studies, and spatial narratives.
- Worked across concept design, design development, documentation, and construction administration.
- Coordinated with clients, consultants, vendors, manufacturers, and contractors.
- Led communication and project progress on selected vision and design packages.
- Built a design practice rooted in systems thinking, visual rigor, detail, and clarity.
Outcome
This background became the foundation of my work in tech. It trained me to think in systems, communicate visually, and move comfortably between concept and execution.
Business Value
Architecture gave me a rare combination of strengths I now bring into AI-native product design: systemic thinking, visual rigor, communication clarity, and comfort working through ambiguity.
Future Perspective
I see this background as a long-term advantage in product design, especially in AI products where logic, interface, and structure (different layers) need to be designed together for the whole to work well.
